As the heating and cooling processes go on the energy is being dispersed to all buildings in the phase of the project tied to geothermal. This ultimately means that the buildings will be powered completely by the heating and cooling from the ground, eliminating utility bills for energy.

Metaphor for Geothermal

Think of the earth underground as "room temperature"

Room temperature is a constant temperature (doesn't fluctuate) just like the ground when the water runs through the geothermal bores. If butter starts in the fridge it gets warmer when sitting out in room temperature, if butter starts melted on the stove it gets cooler when sitting out in room temperature. If the air is cold the ground will create heat energy, if the air is warm the ground will create cooling energy.
